Aiden Barfuss's Football Recruiting Profile
Andrew Mckinney Personal Statement
Dear Coach ,
I am a 5’11” fullback and middle linebacker, from Winner South Dakota. I have played for Winner High School for two years. My freshman year, I was in rotation until my injury halfway through the season. I started this year, my sophomore year, on both sides of the ball. I have played full contact football since the 6th grade and flag football since the second grade. I made 1st team all-conference and received the Joe Robbie MVP award at the state championship game this season. I am a leader, hard worker both on and off the field. I do not give up on obstacles that come my way.
I have a 3.67 GPA and have received academic honors for the past three semesters of high school. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. It is important to my family and I that I get as much support as possible financially to attend the school of my choice. I am open to all levels with more interest in the agriculture or educational area. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make the most impact on the team. I come from a well-educated family, who takes their education and careers seriously.
I am a team leader in all the sports that I play. My parents have always stressed what a team leader is all about. As middle linebacker my sophomore year and having to be the person to call the plays has made the role of a leader easier for me. Hearing stories of my uncle’s experience of playing college football has always been intriguing to me and that is what made me realize I wanted to play college ball. I weigh 195 pounds and can run the 40-yard dash in 4.7. My fastest 100-meter dash is 11.5.
I look forward to learning more about your program and what the school has to offer.
Thank You,
Aiden Barfuss
