Beginnings:
Audrey Paul, was the second daughter of Collin & Olivia Trotter. Audrey Trotter, On October 22, 1954 in Portsmouth, VA entered eternal rest on November 29, 2020. She was a graduate from Churchland High School and then moved on to higher studies at Tidewater Community College where she received her Associates degree in Clerical Studies.
Her Life of Service:
Audrey began working at the early age of 14 for fast food chain, Mr. Quick, then she graduated and landed a job at the Naval Supply Center in 1979 then moved on to become the Founder of Love and Charity in Home Childcare in 1994. In Addition, she became licensed in 2004 for foster care through Children Services of Hampton Roads. Which afford her the opportunity to mold many young people. Not to mention the host of family and friends that she helped through the years. She moved on to home health care and eventually returned to her first love which is teaching young minds at Foundation Learning Center.
Audrey was born and raised in the church in which she continued being a warrior for God in her adult years. She worked on many ministries in the church and allowed her light to shine in many ways through fostering and hospitality. She made up an impact on everyone she came in contact with through her spirit of giving and willingness to help. She welcomed everyone with open arms and treated you like family. She loved to travel and meet new people, she knew no stranger.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and her son, Deon “Professor” Jordan. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Joseph Paul, Jr.; daughters, Jamita Williams and Samantha White; her granddaughter, Chandrel Fortenberry and great granddaughter, Taylor Jordan, a host of foster children; siblings, Mary Carol Drake (Paul), William Trotter (Lillian), Olivia Trotter and Cleatis Trotter (Valerie).
