Personal Statement

Hello my name is Austin Anderson, I am a senior currently attending Foothill High School in Tustin, California. I am 5'11, 215 pounds.I lead my team and the Century league in tackles with 127, 14 tackles for loss..I was team captain and was voted MVP. I made 1st team all league with all county selections still to come. I run a 4.67 forty, an 11.4 one hundred meter dash, and a 23.9 two hundred. These times were from track last year, I also ran the 3rd leg of the Seaview League champion 4x100 relay. I have played football ever since I was 7 years old, and played on 2 national champion Pop Warner teams. My freshman year I was co-captain and starting left outside linebacker/defensive end of our undefeated freshman team (10-0). Also my freshman year, I made honor roll with a GPA of 3.6. I was a starting linebacker on varsity my sophomore year, and played on all special teams.My junior year I lead the century league and my team in tackles with 114. I made first team all league. I always hustle, I am the first on the field and last off. Ever since I was 12 years old I knew I wanted to play college football, it is my dream. I would like to attend any school that is D1,D1AA, D2, or D3, NAIA... because I want the education and I want to continue my football career. I don't mind where the college is as long as I can play football. I would like to play up to my potential all the way through college and hopefully succeed and move on to the highest possible level.
