Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Austin Strickland, but most everyone calls me Auti.  I"ve been an underdog most all my life for a variety of reasons.  I've had to work harder than everyone else to reach my goals. Soccer is my passion.  I wake up and think about soccer.  I play soccer any chance I get.  I love the game.  If you are looking for someone that is passionate about soccer and dedicated to getting better, look no further.  I have a hunger to improve.  I crave being part of a team.  Not an individual, but part of a team.  Soccer is my world.

I am looking to go to a college in which I can pursue my passion for soccer while receiving an education. It is a dream for me to continue playing soccer in college.  I will not only help your team on the field, but will be an asset off the field as well.  I strive to be a person that is high in character and integrity. I am very involved in my church and try to be a better person everyday.  I can help your team in many ways, I just need an opportunity.
