Most of her tats are either generic and thoughtless, brand rep, or boyfriend/exes. I think tattooing names is a terrible idea, especially for a celebrity like Avril, who will inevitably go through a ton of boyfriends in her life. Nearly every person on the planet with a tattoo has a star and/or a lightning bolt somewhere on their body. Not original. Every musical or person interested in music has a music note tattooed somewhere on their body. Also not original. Also, the word FUCK? Really? That’s just having obscenities just for the sake of having obscenities. Not very classy, and not very clever. We get it, she needs to prove how hardcore she really is. These “meaningful” tattoos are so run-of-the-mill, walk into a parlor and point out a picture, that I could vomit.

I have to give it to her, though. The safety pin is a good idea. I have one tattooed behind my ear as well..oddly, in nearly the same spot, because you do, in fact, always need a safety pin! That’s the only one I really like. Girl needs some real tattoos!
