Baby Codi Bigsby Missing? Is He Alive Or Dead?

The toddler’s father, Cory Jamar Bigsby Sr., reported his son missing on January 31, 2022. He last saw Codi sleeping in his bed at about 2 a.m., but the child was gone later in the morning.
Many in the neighborhood are still committed to discovering the young kid for more than 14 weeks, but they have failed to find him.
Volunteers have kept looking for the missing youngster, much like a small group did when they combed the woods in Hampton’s northern region.
Keita Coleman claimed to have looked through the nearby woods near Codi’s home.
“It has been an emotional roller coaster,” Coleman said. “We don’t have any answers. I feel like we’re no closer from day one to day 100 in really what happened to where Codi is.”
Another volunteer, Joe Slabinski of W.A.T.E.R. Team Inc., has spent countless hours and miles searching for Codi.
He said, “Until this little boy either is brought forward or is found, we’re not going to stop searching for him.” Slabinski said. “This young boy has given us the ability to come together. I think we somewhat adopted Codi as our own. I think that’s why people stay engaged.”
According to a spokeswoman for the Hampton Police Division, there have been no new developments in the case.
Coleman remarked, “It’s so much easier to turn away and walk away and no longer be the voice out here for him but if I do that, then who’s left,”Coleman said.“I’m here saying bring him home.”
Codi’s Father arrested on separate charges
In the Hampton police investigation into the boy’s disappearance, Codi’s father is a person of interest.
After reporting the youngster missing, Bigsby stayed at the Hampton police department’s main office for more than three days.
On February 3rd, 2022, he was eventually arrested on separate charges.
Bigsby was first accused of leaving his four children, who ranged in age from 2 to 5, alone on numerous occasions and was charged with seven counts of criminal child negligence.
Later, he was charged with 23 additional counts, including 15 counts of child neglect for allegedly leaving his kids alone at home, two counts of child abuse, four counts of child neglect connected to the alleged abuse, and two misdemeanor counts of failing to seek medical attention for a hurt child.
Bigsby and his lawyer, Amina Matheny-Willard, claim he is being used as a victim in an inefficient police investigation and prosecution and that he had nothing to do with his son’s abduction.
His trial date is November 7, and he is being held without bond.
His family revealed that “He is not a criminal. They spoke out for the first time since four-year-old Codi’s disappearance.

The younger Walsh collaborates with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (N.C.M.E.C.) to provide age-progression pictures and descriptions in the hopes that viewers can come up with fresh leads on missing kids.
Bigsby’s bond was rejected by the court last month. Only a few days after Bigsby reported Codi missing, the police detained him on February 3rd.
