Madden San Miguel was given the nickname Baby Gronk after becoming a viral sensation. The 11-year-old, or the person in charge of his social media accounts, has used his newfound fame to stir up attention in recent weeks.
In total, Baby Gronk has now made eight commitment announcements since May 10. In addition to Alabama, Florida and Georgia, he also announced pledges to Ohio State, Michigan, Colorado, Nebraska and Tennessee. He also announced the list of his top 30 schools last month.
Despite these announcements, it should be noted that there is no real indication that any of those schools made an official scholarship offer to Baby Gronk. His father, Jake San Miguel, told The Athletic's Ari Wasserman last year that the "one real offer" he's received was from Arizona.
Baby Gronk doesn't graduate high school until 2031, so it will be quite some time before he has to worry about officially making a collegiate commitment.
