Ladd McConkey was born to parents Benji McConkey and Brittany McConkey on November 11, 2001. He is one of the three children of the McConkey couple. They gave birth to him in Chatsworth, Georgia, United States.

Ladd’s parents are the ones who inspired him to pursue a career as a professional football player.

Back in his prime days, his father Benji McConkey was a quarterback for his high school team. He attended Dalton High School and was regarded as a player with lots of potentials.

According toCityScope magazine, the wide receiver’s father led Dalton to a two-year record of 25-2 in the years 1993 and 1994. Following his outstanding performance in high school, he went ahead and joined Georgia Military College.

Benji had received a scholarship to play at the college. His skills, enthusiasm, and love for the game were admired by everybody who knew him. CityScope also ranked him in the 38th position as the greatest quarterback of all time.

Ladd shared a very special bond with his father. When Benji passed away it was devastating for him. In 2016, he made an Instagram post saying that he misses his papa and that he will never forget about his father.

His mother Brittney McConkey is extremely supportive of all her children, especially Ladd. She is very active on Facebook under the handle @Brittney Waters McConkey where she constantly showcases her love for her children. She is a very supportive and encouraging mother.

Brittney is known to strongly support Relay For Life of Murray County, GA. The organization works for cancer patients and focuses on raising funds, providing support, and creating awareness for cancer.
