Blake Cordell's Football Recruiting Profile
Andrew Mckinney Personal Statement
My name is Blake Cordell. I am a junior at John Hardin High school in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. I participate in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). My schedule consists of courses such as Advanced Placement (AP) in English and math. I am also on the honor roll and have been during my time at John Hardin. I have been playing football for nine years. During this time, I also played two years of basketball and eight years of baseball. Upon entering high school, I decided to focus on football and academics. I decided to dedicate myself to both football and academics in order to excel in both areas. The qualities I offer are leadership, drive, dedication, and respect. I have been a University of Georgia fan all my life, so going there would be a dream come true. While living in Kentucky, I have had the opportunity to visit the campus of Western Kentucky University a number of times and I am impressed by what the campus has to offer in appearance, size, and location. These qualities are not the most important qualities in choosing a college, the quality of education is more important to me than looks, size, or location. I desire and push myself to play at the highest level possible. I do what is needed in order to see the highest amount of play time. I do this by being flexible and willing to play at the level my coaches require of me in the positions they desire. I enjoy working with the coaching staff and my fellow players by showing a positive attitude and determined practice ethic. This attitude leads my team and me to push ourselves to do our best.
