Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz will return to the ring on July 22 as a co-main event in the fight that will be headlined by Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford.

Cruz's father and manager confirmed it, although they are still looking for an opponent for the Mexican, who is ahead is Giovanni Cabrera.

"It is already 80 percent confirmed," he said in an interview to izquierdazo.com website. "He is going to back Spence against Crawford," he added.

Mr. Isaac Cruz commented that in these days the opponent has to be solved, they are waiting for the confirmation of Sean Gibbons and Manny Pacquiao Promotion.

Who is Giovanni Cabrera?

Giovanni Cabrera is a 28 year old American boxer. He has a record of 21 wins, seven knockouts and zero defeats. He is 1.75 meters tall.

He sails in the lightweight division, is a 10-round fighter, has never competed for any regional or world title.

Cruz goes for another world title shot

The last fight of the "Pitbull" was last September 4, 2022 against Eduardo Ramirez, the Mexican won by knockout in two rounds and won the World Boxing Council lightweight silver title.

The only world title fight Cruz has had was against Gervonta Davis, which he lost by unanimous decision. There, the Mexican could not win the WBA championship.
