Buster Murdaugh’s testimony video has proved to be a hallmark in his criminal father, Alex Murdaugh’s trial. Disbarred attorney and accused killer Alex Murdaugh is undergoing a trial after he was accused of killing his beloved wife, Maggie, and youngest son, Paul. 

Even though all the evidence points towards Alex as the murderer, he has still not pleaded guilty and continues to fight for his defense. 

Paul, Buster’s younger brother, was shot in the chest and head from close range, whereas his mother, Maggie, was shot multiple times in the back.

On the morning of February 28th, Tuesday, Buster, who is 26 years old, stood to give his testimony. During his testimony, he was seen wearing a black blazer and a white button-down shirt. 

Buster, the son of Alex, who has been accused of first-degree murder, stood in his father’s support. He got emotional thinking about the night he saw his beloved brother and mother covered in blood and lying lifelessly on the floor. 

Buster was seen suppressing his emotions and trying not to cry. He mentioned that his father called him on June 27, 2021, informing him about the brutal murders of his brother Paul and his mother, Maggie. 

Buster added that his father asked if he was sitting down before breaking the horrible news.

To make the jurors sympathize with his father, Buster said Alex sounded extremely worried and sad on the phone. 

Buster rushed to his parent’s place, where the alleged murders occurred. He was accompanied by his long-time girlfriend, Brooklynn White. 

When asked about the state he saw his father in when he reached the murder site, Buster said his father was sobbing uncontrollably and looked devastated. 

His father couldn’t control himself and hugged him after he arrived at the place, they called emergency, and the case was forwarded for investigation. 

Buster was asked many questions, and he replied to them in a very calm and composed manner. He was repeatedly seen getting emotional during his testimony. 

Buster is the only living son of accused murderer Alex Murdaugh. Alex’s trial is expected to last at least another week. 

Buster has sat in the courtroom for weeks supporting his father and has had to listen to horrific testimony regarding the way his mom and brother died. 

He has watched the State attempt to convince a jury that his father is guilty of those brutal murders. 

Regardless of what anyone believes about the guilt or innocence of Alex Murdaugh, this tragedy and trial have impacted his son negatively.
