Personal Statement

If you are looking for an extremely hard worker, a coachable athlete, and all around kind person who will contribute a lot to your team, please check out my profile.  

I am the 1600 meter Minnesota state champion for the last two years, running a 4:11.53 in 2022.  I also placed second in 2021 and third in 2022 at state in the 800 meter running a 1:54.67. I live in a town with no running track so I believe my ability to improve is high.  

I am also strong academically, ranking at the top of my class with a 4.0 GPA (unweighted), taking honors classes.  

In my free time I love to be outdoors with my family.  I also enjoy reading about running and researching running shoes. 

I work hard and listen to my coaches and teachers. I have been described as very coachable. I am also a supportive teammate.  I want you to know I will  work hard to improve and make you proud you recruited me.
