On 3rd November, the Chandler school student Joshua Cluff died, and the shockwaves are still being felt throughout the community.
As parents, we send our kids to school every day expecting them to be safe and well-cared for, but now we’re left wondering if that’s really the case.
The student who died was choking and no one on the staff did anything to help.
To our utter surprise, the students have finally stood up and raised their voices against the school staff. According to eyewitnesses, the death of the Chandler school student was due to pure negligence of the school staff.
The student was choking which led to a seizure and got no help. No student knew what to do until actually another student stood up to do the Heimlich Maneuver.
According to eyewitnesses, the student had been struggling for 10 minutes before anyone from the staff attempted to help. They only stood there watching and doing absolutely nothing.
While the students were screaming for help. Minutes later, the student started losing consciousness and started foaming at the mouth.
When other students tried to step in and provide assistance, they were pushed away by the staff and told to go to class. The staff refused to call 911, telling everyone that the student would be fine.
However, it was clear that this was not the case. The staff still refused to call the paramedic or 911 for help. As a result, the student died due to a lack of oxygen.
This is an utter tragedy that could have been easily avoided if the staff had just done their job and acted more quickly and appropriately.
The students are calling for a change and they demand that something is done in order to prevent this from happening again. Families should not have to go through this unimaginable pain just because the school staff was negligent.
