About Christianne Judy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in couples therapy.  I maintain a private practice in O'Fallon, IL with nine other practitioners at Counseling Associates of Southern Illinois.  As a Certified Gottman Therapist, I believe that healthy individuals make up strong marriages and strong marriages are at the center of strong and healthy families.  The Gottman Method Couples Counseling is based on 42 years of research that Dr. John Gottman and his wife Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman have compiled.  From watching happy couples and distressed couples over a 40 year span, they know what couples are doing that keep them happily married.  I will help you learn and practice these skills so you can be among the group of happily married couples.  

I graduated from Washington University George Warren Brown School of Social Work. My diverse work experience has provided me with a broad range of skills that help me in private practice today.   My therapeutic approach is to provide support and feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. When I work with individuals, I try to lead them back inside themselves for the answers they are looking for. I believe that each individual knows what is best for them, therefore, I try to help them listen to that inner voice and support them while they follow it. With compassion, care, understanding and listening I work with each couple or individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are striving for.
