CNN - Navy plane crashes in Caribbean; crew missing

Web posted at: 4:30 p.m. ESTJACKSONVILLE, Florida (CNN) -- Two U.S. Navy aviators were missing Saturday after their plane crashed into the Caribbean.
The plane, an S-3 Viking, crashed into the sea Friday night after taking off from the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis stationed near Puerto Rico, a Navy press release said.
The two pilots have been identified as Lt. Thomas P. Wilcox, 30, from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Lt. Donald R. Cioth, 30, of Freehold, New Jersey.
They were assigned to Sea Control Squadron 24 at Cecil Field Naval Air Station near Jacksonville, Florida.
