Young men from the village of Blandare had ventured into the nearby mountains in search of silver. It seemed their expedition had taken an unfortunate turn, however – and the witcher was tasked with uncovering their fate.

Following contains quest spoilers. You’ve been warned

Talk to the village elder in Blandare.

Investigate the area around the missing miners’ camp using your Witcher Senses.

Follow the road and the leads found on it. They will take you to a nearby cave.

Talk to the rock troll and decide his fate.

The second option where you leave the troll alone is the one that give you the bonus prize from the troll (50x Crowns, 2x Silver Ore). Keep in mind that even after this he can become hostile, leaving you with the option to kill him and claim the maximum prize.
