Danny Simmons’ Net Worth

Danny Simmons, an American abstract expressionist painter, has a net worth of $20 million. He is the older brother of Russell Simmons and rapper Joseph Simmons, who is known as Reverend Run of Run-D.M.C. Simmons is the co-founder and Chairman of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and Rush Arts Gallery. He and his brother Russell established Def Poetry Jam, which was featured on HBO.

Simmons has authored several books, including Three Days As the Crow Flies and I Dreamed My People Were Calling But I Couldn’t Find My Way Home. He earned a degree from New York University and a master’s degree from Long Island University.

Simmons’ work has been featured in collections at Chase Manhattan Bank, the Schomburg Center for Black Culture, and the United Nations. He is also credited as the co-executive producer of Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry.
