Danielo Bucci's Men's Soccer Recruiting Profile
Mia Lopez Personal Statement
Dear Coaches: After speaking with my high school counselor, club coach and getting my family’s approval, I would like to submit for your review and consideration my player profile/resume and credentials to date as a potential team member of your university men's soccer team.
I have begun to narrow my university and career pursuits. I am hopeful that my academic and athletic abilities will afford me the opportunity to attend your university and play for coaches as well respected as you. My goal is to pursue a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or Athletic Training and obtain a career in the many areas of employment it offers. I really enjoy helping and working with people. Athletically, I have a drive and passion for excellence on and off the soccer field. I am the type of player who is committed to taking responsibility and doing my job to help make my team a success and represent my school proudly. Soccer is my passion and my dream has always been to become a professional soccer player but just as important is first obtaining my university degree and to play soccer at the university level.
Currently I am in Grade 12X (12X is an optional extra year in high school available in Ontario before attending college) attending St. Patrick's High School in Sarnia, Ontario as my previous high school St. Christopher is going through extensive renovations. All St. Christopher students have been transferred to St. Patricks for the 2013/2014 school year. All students will return to St. Christopher once renovations are complete and St. Patrick's will then be closed.
I have successfully graduated in the 2013 class and will be staying back an extra year in high school and am now available for the men's soccer recruiting class of 2014. I play at the highest levels of soccer in Ontario including being provincially identified and trained with the U14 and U16 Ontario Provincial teams. I am now playing competitive men's league soccer in the elite WOSL Men's Premier League in Southwestern Ontario for London Marconi Premier Soccer Team. In 2012 I played competitive soccer for FC London Academy - U21 Soccer team in the Ontario Soccer U21 Provincial League. Playing soccer in the WOSL men's league is my biggest challenge to date as it boasts some top college players, ex-college players, semi-pro and some ex-professional players and so therefore even though I am still in high school I am ready and capable of playing U.S. university/college men's soccer at all division levels now. My work ethics, skills and ability to accept all challenges with a never give up attitude has helped me to be successful in achieving many of my soccer goals.
I wrote my SAT on Oct.5, 2013 on scored 1100/1600. I am hoping to talk with you about your program and player needs for your future roster.I would appreciate any information you can send me regarding your program, along with future soccer recruiting camps that are available at your university/college.
