Delphi Murders Richard Allen Finally Arrested After 5 Years

According to WTTV, in 2017, Richard, who is 50 years old, was involved in the murders of two teenage girls. He was arrested on Friday, October 28, 2022, and will soon be taken to court for further proceedings.
Kelsi German, Libby’s sister, tweeted on Friday, “Today is the day.” She wrote that a press conference is scheduled for Monday.
The two teenage girls went missing on February 13, 2017, and Libby shared a Snapchat video of Abigail(Abby) walking down the bridge. It was the last time the girls were seen and later found dead the next day.
The Indian Police state department’s office said that the girls were dropped near the Monon High Bridge in Delphi, from where they walked alone. The girls decided to walk on their own but when their father arrived to pick them up, they weren’t found.
The girls’ missing reports were filed by their family members, and the Delphi police began their search. Their family’s anticipation came to an end when the next day, police found the girl’s dead body.
The police found an uncovered audio clip a week later that Libby had taken. In the audio, a man can be heard telling her, “down the hill.”
In five years, the police had suspected many people, and they also arrested a man who was involved in the attack on Capitol on January 6.
During the investigation, Libby’s social media account was checked, and a fake account was found. The account name was “anthony_shots,” who claimed to be a successful model and had been interacting with Libby before her and Abby’s murder.
Delphi Murder Richard – Details That The Police Shared
Delphi murder case of Libby and Abby had the police investigating for five years. In the period, police discovered some evidence, including an audio clip mentioned before and some sketches the police shared.
In July 2017, the police interrogated many witnesses and finally released a sketch of their first suspect. On April 22, 2019, Indiana State police released another sketch of their second suspect after years of investigation.
However, their investigation had finally come to an end as they found Richard Allen. Richard was the person who was involved in killing the two innocent teenage girls.
When Were The Teenage Girls Gone Missing?
According to the Indiana Police State, the two teenage girls, 13-year-old Abigail Joyce “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty Rose Lynn “Libby” German went missing at 5:30 p.m. On Monday, February 13, 2017.
German’s sister dropped Libby, and Abby on County Road 300 North, which was east of the Hoosier Heartland Highway.
According to the Snapchat video shared by Libby, it can be seen that Abby was walking on the railroad at 2:07 p.m. As her father arrived to pick them up, they found them missing from the area.
The family initiated the search by themselves, but when they had searched the entire area, they decided to file a missing report for Libby and Abby. The next day, the family was shocked when they heard that the teenage girls were found dead.
As per the police, they found the bodies about 0.5 miles east of the abandoned Monon High Bridge. The girls’ bodies were lying near the north bank of Deer Creek.
After the arrest of Richard Allen, the family is sure that they will receive justice.
