When Puerto Rico was winning the game 4-0, the musician posted on his Instagram stories an image of the game and accompanied it with some emojis.

They are a laughing face, some flames, the Puerto Rican flag and a strong arm. The first emoji was not well received by Mexican fans, who considered that the person behind"Ojitos Lindos" had mocked when his team was winning the match by a wide margin.

After Mexico's upset and when the game ended 5-4 in favor of the Aztecs, Benito wrote in his stories: "Proud of my team. Thank you so much!"
