Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a renowned dancer and DJ originating from Montgomery, is remembered for his appearances on So You Think You Can Dance and the Ellen DeGeneres show.

On December 14th, even the most devoted fans of tWitch were surprised to learn that he had passed away at the young age of 40.

A husband and father to three, many are mourning the loss of this beloved celebrity. 

Indeed, according to Allison Holker’s remarks following his death, Stephen was able to bring joy wherever he went – as evidenced by a recent video shared on social media which featured him and Allison dancing together.

With his passing, it is clear that an illuminating presence has been taken away too soon and his name remains in the hearts of all who knew him or ever enjoyed one of his energetic performances.

Tragically, it often takes an event like tWitch’s death to bring mental health conversations into the public sphere.

Thankfully, though, Dr. Klapow emphasizes the importance of reaching out and expressing anxiety or other low emotions instead of bottling them up inside.

Seeking help and advice when feeling unhappy is essential for a successful journey in self-discovery.

As Dr. Klapow so eloquently noted, we can become trapped in the idea that “we’re all supposed to be happy”; however, this is far from reality.

Research has shown that it is best to seek out assistance from professionals or close friends the moment negativity starts to creep in, thus avoiding further emotional turmoil or having to bear the weight of negative emotions alone.

When talking to a trusted friend or even a professional such as clergy, finding an outlet for your sadness could possibly lead you on an incredible voyage towards self-understanding and appreciation.
