Dillon Barrett's Football Recruiting Profile
Mia Horton Personal Statement
Being able to play at the section championship at Ralph Wilson Stadium was the highlight of my high school football career so far, although i grew the most as a player in my Junior season. I learned what it really meant to win and lose as a team and the need for teamwork after having a 3-6 losing season. It has really taught me the value of teamwork and hard work. The losing season also gave me the chance to learn better leadership skills and how to bring up a teammate who is down. The intangible skills I've developed not only on the field but in the classroom and in Boy Scouts including commitment and sacrifice, have helped me become a good running back and prepare me to excel as a student-athlete at the next level.
I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me athletically and academically. I value the educational experience as much as the athletic experience i hope to be a part of. I feel I not only possess the athletic skills necessary but also the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. As a soon to be Eagle Scout i know i have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
