Bronwyn does end up with Nate but the last minute of the last episode of Season 2 episode might suggest something else. There was a murder in the school's hallway. 

However, One Of Us Is Lying series is based on the novel, Same Name (2017) authored by Karen M. McManus. The book has a happy ending, with Nate ending up with Bronwyn.

Similarly, the first three episodes of the series seem to indicate that are fairly close to the book. Those who have read the novel will probably enjoy the adaptation.

Peacock Original Series, One Of Us Is Lying centers on a group of teens who are all considered murder suspects. Simon is a wanted man and everyone wants to kill him because he knows deep secrets. The begining of Novel starts with Bronwyn, Addy, Cooper, Nate, and Simon all in detention which is quite similar to the series. 

In contrast, the series has a different motive and a contradictory ending to the book Same Name.
