Dr Pimple Popper is known for her expert cyst and lipoma popping, but patient Jenna came to visit to get the ‘bubble cyst’ behind her ear drained.

The TLC show has been providing popaholics with endless amounts of pops and squeezes for 10 seasons, so while we wait for an announcement for another season, let’s throw it back to when Dr Pimple Popper drained Jenna’s ear bubble cyst.

In sixth grade, Jenna was jumping rope in PE when the rope slapped the back of her ear which filled up with liquid. She describes it as looking like a ‘marshmallow.’

Like many of Dr Sandra Lee‘s patients, Jenna has been to previous doctors, however, was told it will just be refilled with liquid again if drained.

The condition makes the patient very insecure as she said she feels like “a weird freak.”

Dr Sandra Lee says the removal ‘won’t be straightforward’

Jenna and her mom get to Dr Pimple Popper’s office, who says this is not something she sees commonly.

Upon further inspection, the doctor suspects it’s a collection of lymph fluid inside a cyst. Unfortunately, the removal of these is not always straightforward.

Although there’s a risk it could grow back, Jenna is happy to go ahead with the removal.

The removal is ‘freaking the patient out’

Going ahead with the removal, Dr Pimple Popper injects the bubble and releases all the yellow lymphatic fluid, which the patient says “looks like lemonade.”

However, it wasn’t all over yet. Sandra then makes an incision to remove the “ground zero” of the cyst, in hopes it doesn’t grow back.

Of course, as the removal is in her ear, Jenna can hear everything going on, from the scissors to the liquid being drained which she says is ‘freaking her out.’
