Dr Pimple Popper pops dozens of smelly ‘mystery bumps’ on Chrystal’s chest after 20 years Sun 24 December 2023 14:00 Kiesha Dosanjh
Mia Morrison Dr Pimple Popper’s patient Chrystal has been hiding her ‘mystery bumps’ on her chest for over 20 years, and now, it’s time to take action. Her cysts stop her from enjoying a lot of things in life, including the Christmas period, as she’s self-conscious about having them on show in a party dress. But the doctor is here to perform a Christmas miracle.
The TLC show has provided us popaholics with unforgettable content in 2023, so to end the year off, we throw it back to a Christmas special. Here’s to more Dr Pimple Popper in 2024!
Chrystal’s ‘mystery bumps’ ruin Christmas every year
The patient first noticed the bumps on her chest when she was around 13 years old, and said they made her feel “ugly”.
When her bumps pop, they’re painful, tender, and smell horrible. “Like Santa’s reindeer had a party, and they all went round back and took a poop,” she joked.
Chrystal says her condition ruins Christmas for her every year, as she doesn’t have the confidence to go to parties, worrying about her dress showing her bumps.
Dr Lee solves the mystery
Chrystal and her mom visit Dr Pimple Popper’s office for advice on her fluidly bumps, which only appear on her chest.
The doctor reveals that it’s a common place for bumps to form, and takes a closer look. She then confirms that the patient has a condition called Steatocystoma Multiplex.
Like always, Dr Lee is happy to go ahead with the removal, hoping to remove some of the biggest, and most noticeable bumps.
Chrystal definitely isn’t a popaholic
Although excited about the procedure, Chrystal is not a popaholic, and doesn’t want to watch her cysts being popped. Therefore, she’s given a towel to cover her face.
One by one, the doc squeezes the tiny bumps, which ooze a yellow fluid. The patient must’ve got her squeamishness from her mother, who’s sat in the corner of the room, barely able to watch.

However, the ‘icky moments’ were worth it, as the patient is about to have her first ‘cyst-less’ Christmas in 20 years, leaving her in tears.
Of course, Dr Sandra Lee couldn’t let her go without showing her the dried-up contents of her cysts. Although she’s not a converted popaholic, the patient didn’t run out of the room.
She’s not ready to get back out there and enjoy herself on the Christmas dancefloor!
