Personal Statement

Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I am a junior, I weigh 220pounds, Im 6’6”, and play wing/forward on my school team. I attended Albuquerque Academy for my freshman and sophomore year at which I played varsity as a freshman and consistently started as a sophomore. Both years I achieved the Academic - All District award for maintaing a 3.5 or higher for the entirety of the year. My coach loved playing me my freshman and sophomore year because “I can produce, I’m the calmest, most trustworthy, versatile player.” After my sophomore year I was invited to play with the New Mexico Force club team, I bonded with the players immediately and led our team to a championship in Phoenix without any prior practice. My coach repeatedly told me I play so much because I am “so coachable.” Directly after our last tournament the head coach of the D1 Ambassador Danny Granger Hurricanes contacted me wishing to train me. After only a few sessions he invited me to play on the Danny Granger team on which I am currently playing and doing quite well!
