American comedian Whitney Cummings has a half-brother named Kevin Cummings. Kevin is happily married and lives in London with his family.

Whitney is an actress, writer, director, producer, investor, and podcaster. A native of Washington, DC, the 40-year-old  pursued a comedy career in Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Whitney claimed that she was brought up in an abusive, alcoholic family. She briefly lived with her aunt in Virginia at the age of 12 and also spent her summers at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where her father was the manager of the Hill Top House Hotel.
