Travis Van Winkle's parents Sally Fitzgerald and Charles Van Winkle are both veterans of the US Air Force.

They first met in the Air Force and fell in love soon. The couple wedded in 1979 and have been happily married for 41 years now.

For their 37th anniversary in 2018, Sally and Charles took a trip to Spain. The Phase One actor shared an emotional tribute expressing love for his parents. He shared the screenshot of a hand-written message, which said, "Happy Wedding Anniversarrry! It's because of you that I'm me. It's because of you I breathe. It's because of you. Travis' mother Sally is currently 62 years old, whereas his father is 64 years old. They were born on February 10, 1960, and June 19, 1958, respectively.
