Throwing it back to a time when photos usually got printed (rather than the typical ‘save it to your iPhone folder’ era these days), Egypt uploaded a sweet image of her cuddling her mom, which received almost 10K likes.

Who are Egypt Sherrod’s parents?
Egypt is besties with mom Kim, while her dad was a real estate broker. She grew up in her grandparents’ home, where she slept in a closet that only fit her bed. As a child, she dreamed to one day have a closet bigger than her bedroom.
Her dad’s passion for real estate inspired her line of work, while she bickers with her mom just like a sister. During an interview with Vibe, she said:
We’re hysterical together because we’re like Golden Girls the way we bicker. Whenever me and my mom are having our moment of bickering, my husband says, ‘Y’all two are just alike. I look at your mother, and I see you in 30 years.’
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her stepfather is reportedly a commercial realtor. Egypt was brought up by her late grandmother Ruthie Mae. In 2019, she took to Facebook to pay tribute to the woman that raised her.
And, in the same year, she shared a throwback photo to Facebook of herself with her mother. Egypt’s grandfather is also said to have been a realtor throughout his career.

Meet her daughter Kendall
Egypt’s daughter Kendall, born in 2012, turned 10 years old on January 12th 2022. The first daughter of Mike and the HGTV star, Kendall is also a sister to Harper, who recently turned three, and Simone.
The Married to Real Estate co-host said she “can’t believe how fast time is moving” when Kendall celebrated entering the world of double digits. It’s not the first time Egypt has gotten teary, as she also got emotional on the show.
She spoke about watching her children grow up over the years, and said:
Kendall used to sleep in this crib. I was so excited Harper could take her old bedroom set. Everything in here holds sentimental value and the idea of taking it out, it’s not even a material thing, it’s the idea our girls are growing fast.
Her daughter Kendall is often seen enjoying family time with her parents and siblings, and often enjoys eating food while sitting at the home’s lavish kitchen island.

Fans think Kendall and Kim look alike
When Egypt uploaded the throwback post cuddling her mom Kim, on January 24th, her followers erupted with positive messages such as “beautiful”, while giving their own stories of printing out photos in the past.
It wasn’t long before many started commenting on just how similar Kim looks to granddaughter Kendall. A fan wrote: “Kendall looks just like your Mom. Beautiful ladies and yes print them out.“
Another follower thought the young Egypt looks like Kendall. They said: “Beautiful!! Wow you look just like Kendall!“
