Gary Cole met Teddi Siddall on the set of “Midnight Caller” where she was working as a writer. They tied the knot on March 8, 1992 and had a daughter named Mary on March 16, 1993. However, Mary was diagnosed with autism at just 18 months old. Cole believed that it was important to understand the world through her eyes and became involved with autism charities like The Help Group and Autism Speaks.

Cole and Siddall separated in February 2015 and the latter filed for divorce in June 2017. Sadly, Siddall passed away in February 2018. Cole found love again with interior designer Michelle Knapp and they got married in August 2021. The couple recently bought a house in Bel Air for a whopping $2.5 million.
