With awards season just around the corner, we bet that most stars are taking a cue from Fergie’s book and have begun taking on a “working on my fitness” M.O. And while Gina Rodriguez is thankful for a year of success, the Golden Globe nominee tells InStyle she’s definitely aiming to tone one body part for her red carpet appearances.

“I’ve already had an amazing first year, I really don’t think I can ask for anymore. It’s very exciting … So for that, I’ll be doing push-ups,” she admits, adding, “Trying to get those arms, trying to get those award arms because you can hide everything else. It’s the arms that are always showing.”

The Jane the Virgin star, who hosted an intimate cocktail party in collaboration with Moët & Chandon on Tuesday night at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont, is also looking forward to being a judge at the inaugural Moët Moment Film Festival in January. “I’m able to do something that I dreamt of 15 years ago, and it’s taken me a while to get here,” she says. “I don’t care if it takes me 20, 30 more years to dream things that I’m dreaming up now.”

And while the actress is optimistic towards the future, don’t think she waits until New Year’s Eve to focus on resolutions. “My resolutions happen morning and nightly. I should probably stop drinking this Moët. It’s probably not great for your skin, but on the contrary, I love it.”
