This week is MAJOR. Harry Styles and BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw recently sat down (FOR THREE HOURS) to discuss the former One Direction singer’s solo career, and (SOUND THE ALARM) … debut his new single!

“Hiiiii @harrystyles. On Friday you'll hear what happened when we sat down for 2 hours for a massive chat. It was actually 3 but I guess an hour was crap and got cut. The song is beautiful. Exciting! See u Friday,” Grimshaw captioned a photo of Styles in the Radio 1 studio.

Styles’s recent social media activity has led us to believe that the “beautiful” song in question is called “Sign of the Times”—we’re assuming the moody photo accompanying the announcement is the record cover. Eerie, no?

More exciting news: on April 15, the 23-year-old will grace the Saturday Night Live stage for his FIRST. LIVE. SOLO. PERFORMANCE.
