Henry Swieca is an American businessman and entrepreneur with a net worth of $1.9 billion. He is the co-founder and former Chief Investment Officer of Highbridge Capital Management, as well as the founder of Talpion Fund Management.
Swieca graduated from Stony Brook University and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and later became an institutional investment advisor for Dillon Reed.
In 1984, Swieca and childhood friend Glenn Dubin formed the Dubin and Swieca Group at E.F. Hutton. They later started Highbridge Capital Management together in 1992, which they sold 55% of to JP Morgan Chase in 2004 before selling the remainder in 2009 for a reported $1.3 billion.
Swieca’s current company, Talpion Fund Management, invests in direct fixed income investing and in a hedge fund-like structure. He is married to Israeli-American Estee Tobaly and they have four children.
