Personal Statement

I am committed to Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA.

I attended USAV BJNC in Columbus, Ohio this past summer. I represented Yorktowne Volleyball Club on the 17 Orange team as an Outside Hitter in the Club Division.

Starting my Senior year in August, I have played club volleyball for five years and this will be my fourth year playing High School Varsity volleyball at York Suburban Senior High School. I have played Co-Ed doubles for the past three summers and quads for the past four years. I also do summer conditioning and open gyms when my schedule permits.

I'm planning on taking three AP courses my senior year including AP US Studies, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Statistics, and I also participate in an independent all-male a capella group made of self-directed high school students. I want to attend a college that would not only allow me to play competitive volleyball, but would also lead me to my dream of becoming a history teacher and a freelance coder.
