ICYMI: Man City complete Gvardiol transfer from RB Leipzig
Mia Horton As the previous post's lead image may have given away, Manchester United finally confirmed the signing of Rasmus Hojlund on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Dane was presented to the Old Trafford crowd before United's 3-1 win over Lens (which was analysed here by Carl Anka).
Fans will have to wait a little longer to see Hojlund in action, however, as he sustained a small injury during pre-season training with Atalanta.
He is recovering well and taking part in training, but not yet ready to play. It is likely to take a few weeks for him to reach match fitness.
United's opening Premier League fixtures are Wolves (H) on August 14, Spurs (A) on August 19 and Nottingham Forest (H) on August 26.
