New controversy on social networks in the United States. This time in the state of Texas after a 19-year-old influencer was arrested for beating people on the street, recording it and uploading it to the Internet, to his YouTube and TikTok platforms.

The man has been identified as Alford Lasean Lewis, and he was performing the nasty prank around parks in the city of Houston, with the sole purpose of going viral. The first incident of this type happened on October 26th in Wortham Park, where Alford, accompanied by a friend who was filming him, punched a man from behind who was walking by.

The second case occurred days later in the same park. This time, the influencer threatens a second person with a gun, and then asks him to hand over his phone. Fortunately the victim was finally able to escape the situation.

He confessed that it was only to gain popularity

The young man himself eventually confessed to the police, admitting that he was only doing it to try to gain popularity, but that he now regrets his actions. However, being of legal age, he is able to be charged. He is now facing serious charges as well, and will eventually appear in court.

In principle, the judge in charge of Lewis' case has granted him a bail of 30 thousand dollars, with the condition that he wears a GPS monitor on his ankle, while he is under house arrest. Lewis' friend, Kingston Miker, 18, was also arrested and faces the same charges. Aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon are some of the charges Lewis faces.
