Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Isabelle, but my teammates call me Belle.  I have been playing Volleyball since I was 6 years old.   I am currently playing in my 5th full year of club volleyball in Tucson, Arizona for Zona Volleyball Club on the 16-1 travel team.  

As the tallest player on my team I have been tasked with being the middle blocker and have shown that I am flexible, coachable, and supportive of the team's needs.  I enjoy working hard at maintaining my high A average in school while also working just as hard on the court to contribute to my team's success as a leader on the floor.  My offseason goals include strength and agility training, position camps and beach volleyball to ensure my skills continue to improve.  

As a Sophomore I'm note quite sure yet what I would like to earn a degree in, but I enjoy classes about business, health, STEM, & Performing Arts.  Currently, my top colleges are in the South East, such as  Florida, the Carolinas, Kentucky and also in the Midwest like Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, as well as a bit closer to home in Arizona, Utah, and Colorado.  I still have a lot of time to see different programs and learn more about Universities around the country which also means I’m open to playing anywhere. 

My mind is set to play college volleyball for a competitive program that allows me to grow as a player with teammates who are like minded and want to compete at the highest level.  Lastly, I want to earn an education in areas that are important to me while also being  supported by a program where coaches want to see their players thrive.
