The video featured a number of explicit photos, crude comments, and references to illicit substances that Crisp had made in 2018. 

The footage depicted a person scrolling through several screenshots of Snapchat, with many of them featuring Crisp’s bearded face. 

The last two images in the video were explicit, showing a man standing but with his face not visible.

Following the meeting with the AFL’s integrity unit, Crisp said that he was relieved that the investigation was over and that he could now move on from the incident.

He also expressed his remorse over the situation’s impact on his family and loved ones, stating that he was “deeply sorry” for the hurt he had caused.

Crisp also spoke about the incident on a podcast, saying that he had made a mistake and that he was taking responsibility for his actions.

He stated that he had learned from the experience and that he was committed to making amends with those who had been affected.

The AFL released a statement on Tuesday, announcing that they would not be taking any further action against Crisp. 

The league said that they had conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and that they had found no evidence to suggest that Crisp had breached any AFL rules or regulations.

Despite this, the league stated that they were disappointed with Crisp’s behavior and reminded him of his obligations as an AFL player.

They also urged all players to think carefully about their actions on and off the field, particularly regarding social media.

Crisp’s case has highlighted the growing concern around the use of social media by AFL players, with many experts warning of the potential risks and consequences of posting inappropriate content online. 

The league has been working to educate players on the dangers of social media and has implemented strict guidelines around its use.

In a recent interview, AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said that the league was taking a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate behavior by players, both on and off the field. 

He stated that the AFL was committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone involved in the sport.

The incident has also sparked a broader conversation about the use of social media by athletes and public figures more generally. 

Many experts have called for greater regulation and oversight of social media platforms to prevent the spread of harmful or offensive content.
