Mia Morrison Competitive eating legend Joey Chestnut, reigning pistachio-eating champion Nick Wehry and NFL edge-rusher Joey Bosa were the big names at Monday's Wonderful Pistachios Get Crackin' Eating Championship in Santa Monica, CA.
But it was James Webb who stole the show, setting a record with an incredible 338 pistachios eaten in eight minutes:

Bosa had a realistic outlook on his nut-eating chances, predicting he would lose to Chestnut.
"I don't really care where I place," he told TMZ Sports. "My main goal is to not choke and die on a pistachio in front of a bunch of people. If I could accomplish that, then it's a win in my book."
He also said that his new head coach on the Los Angeles Chargers, Jim Harbaugh, told him he wanted to see him win the Wonderful Pistachios Get Crackin' Eating Championship.
