Jerese Rogers's Softball Recruiting Profile
Mia Morrison Personal Statement
I am Jerese Rogers; I also answer to Reese or 8. I attend Eastside High School in Covington, GA. I am a 5ft, 110 lb class of 2014 senior who pitches, plays middle infield, and outfield on my schools' varsity team, the Eagles, as well as on my travel team, 18U Georgia Impact - Glass. I lettered on Varsity my freshman year while maintaining a 3.5 GPA, achieved All-Region for pitching two consecutive years, last season (2012) received the Golden Glove award as a defensive pitcher, and I just earned a berth to Nationals with my travel team May 19, 2013.
Though no captains are named on my High School team, I exhibit leadership qualities through hard work (I practice independent team practices and conditioning), dedication (I have never missed a practice or a game in travel or school ball), and intrinsic motivation (I am self-motivated/mentally motivated to do my personal best). My personal philosophy is softball is played in the mind and executed by the body.
While I presently live in the great state of Georgia, I am not opposed to leaving to attend an institution that offers financial assistance, provides academic curriculum plus real-world experience in Sports Science and Management and affords me the opportunity to play competitive softball at the highest level.
