Jim Tweto is an American businessman and reality TV star with a net worth of $20 million. He grew up in Silver Bay, Minnesota, and won a hockey scholarship to the University of Alaska-Anchorage. After college, Tweto shifted his focus to aviation and relocated to Unalakleet, Alaska, in the early 80s to focus on flying. He married and started a family in Unalakleet and became the COO of Era Alaska in 2009. Era Alaska is the largest regional airline in Alaska and a combination of three smaller carriers that merged.

In 2011, Tweto and his family became the subject of a documentary series on the Discovery Channel called “Flying Wild Alaska.” The show aired for three seasons and featured their family-run airline.
