I currently attend the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY where I play as a Junior for Head Coach Don Butcher on the Patriots Men's Basketball team. I will graduate May 2020. I currently maintain a GPA of 3.6. I am a student-athlete who desires to fit into a Family / Team atmosphere and is all about winning and becoming a better basketball player and person in life. I am interested in obtaining a degree, and desire to be a consistent student athlete for multiple years for both basketball and school. I am sincere about earning my degree and leaving college with a meaningful career. I strive to maintain a high character, and am a low-maintenance student-athlete with very strong moral values. I have a great work ethic, mentally and physically tough, work hard during practices, and a heart to grow and improve every day. I am a strong and physical player and consider myself a very "smart" and "serious" player that has a “selfless” mentality, always putting the well-being of the team first. I have a “Team Player” mentality and an open ear ready to learn how to become a better student of the game. I strive on “team ball” and working as a team to compete at the highest level while striving for excellence. I finish plays well through contact, a disciplined defender, and can shoot the ball with ease beyond the three-point line. I am honest with myself and will not hesitate to seek teammates, coaches, and mentors for assistance, or spend a little extra time in the gym so I can constantly improve. I believe that I can represent myself, team, family and college institution with pride and respect on and off the court. I graduated a student-athlete at Christ Chapel Academy (CCA) located in Woodbridge, Virginia where I played for the boys’ varsity basketball team under head coach Clinton Simmons where I played as a starter on varsity team. Our team came in at “Runner-up” at the VISAA Division III State Championship game at Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA during both the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. In addition, our team also won the Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference title during the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons and I was selected “First Team All-League” for the NVIAC 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. , and was also selected Second Team – All State during the 2014-2015 basketball season. I was recently selected as NJCAA Region XX First Team- All Region, Division II for the 2017-2018 season, and also selected as a player to participate in the MDJUCO All-Star game. Recently I was selected as Second Team All-Conference for the Mid-South Conference, and awarded Academics All Conference for Mid-South Conference for 2019. I am a very strong, physical athletic player who has a good first step when driving to the basket and finishes strong around the rim. I have a good up size and can play my position very well. My thorough contact play can wear opponents down. I have become an improved shooter since the high school season, both in the midrange area and behind the arc. I am a good defender and rebounder, and enjoy involving my team-mates with assists. I believe that my size, strength and straight line driving ability all are assets. I have a mentality to compete at the highest level to learn all that I can and being the best at sportsmanship that I can be. I am interested in a college basketball program that thrives on winning, defense, effort, and intensity. Please take the time to check out my previous video links at the NCSA website.
