Joshua Zacher's Football Recruiting Profile
William Burgess Personal Statement
It has been a dream of mine to play football on a collegiate team since I was very young. My goal is to play college football with a team that is able to best utilize my skills while helping them reach their objectives. In college, I plan on majoring in physical education and eventually becoming a high school football coach so that I may inspire young athletes, like myself, to follow their hopes and dreams on and off of the football field. This fall, I have enjoyed volunteering as the Assistant Coach for the Junior Lancer Offensive Line while helping them develop their skills and passion for the game that is such a big part of who I am.
I believe that I bring a strong dedication, strength, leadership and positive attitude to my football team. I give 110% percent to every single play. I have been working hard in the classroom and I’ve also been working diligently in the weight room with tremendous results. During the off-seasons, I trained with NFL former LB Tank Daniels, OG Chris Snee, OT Sameeh McDonald and DT J'vonne Parker to increase my strength, speed and agility as well as working on stance, pass blocking and run blocking skills while further developing my hands and footwork to become a smarter, more advanced player. Through hard work and dedication, my football skills have improved immensely and I am enjoying applying these skills on the field during my senior year of high school.
As captain of the Varsity Team, I am confident that, with the help of my coaches, trainers and teachers, I will continue to work hard to deliver what it takes to be a valuable asset to my team and continue to share my experiences with others.
I have the size and determination to help my team succeed and hope to utilize these well into my college years to help me further my education.
