Jude Reyes: From Beer Distribution to Billionaire

Jude Reyes is an American entrepreneur with a net worth of $10 billion, making him one of the wealthiest individuals in Illinois. He graduated from Wofford College and, alongside his brother, acquired a beer distribution company in South Carolina in 1976. They later purchased Chicago Beverage Systems and expanded their initial acquisitions into a $15 billion food and beer distribution empire called Reyes Holdings.

During the late 90s, the company purchased Martin-Brower, McDonald’s primary distribution company. They have since broadened their distribution scope to include Latin America, Ireland, and Canada. They also acquired Reinhardt Foodservice, a large food distribution company. Jude Reyes presently serves as co-chairman of Reyes Holdings alongside his brother, J. Christopher Reyes, while their other brother, David, oversees all beer distribution operations. Additionally, he is a board member of the Chicago Rehabilitation Center and NorthShore University HealthSystem.
