As a divorce advisor, attorney, and coach, I help people end their marriage in a more amicable, educated and efficient way. 

I know how difficult divorce can be. I've helped hundreds of people decide whether to divorce. It's not an easy decision to make, no matter who you are. Plenty of people get stuck in indecision for years ... sometimes decades.  Unfortunately, being stuck sucks! It's the one place where you're guaranteed to stay frustrated and unhappy.

That's why I created the Decision Day Retreat. It's a full day specially devoted to helping you understand what's stopping you from moving forward in your marriage and your life so that you can overcome those obstacles and confidently come to a decision you can trust.

I graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame Law School, then started my career at a large Chicago law firm. From there I became a Bureau Chief at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.  After that, I opened my own law practice. I currently practice divorce law in Chicago and Naperville.

Over the years, I have been an adjunct law professor at the John Marshall Law School and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. In addition, I am also a Divorce Mediator and a Collaborative Divorce professional.

I am a member of the American Bar Association, The Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, The International Association of Collaborative Professionals, The Illinois State Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts.

I’ve appeared on television, radio, and podcasts. I’ve also created a lot of divorce videos you can watch on YouTube.
