Kendal Weeks's Men's Basketball Recruiting Profile
William Burgess Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Kendal Weeks. I play at Robert F. Munroe in Quincy, Florida. I have trained since 3rd grade where I would go to the gym with my sister when she played varsity basketball at Munroe for legendary Coach Van Bryant. Coach Bryant would let me do all the drills they did so my skills began to develop at an early age. I love the game and would like to play and be successful at the next level. At Munroe, we are a very small school and have not had a great deal of success in the basketball program as of late. But, I have led every team I've played on in most catagories at our school where I was moved up to JV as a 6th grader to handle the ball. I'm looking to hopefully play at a small college or Junior college in the Southeast.
I am 6' 2" and weigh 160 pounds. I'm a quick 2 guard that likes to shoot the three and drive to the basket when given the opportunity. As a junior I was all county and all area 2nd team. I work hard every day and always want to win, its been my dream to play basketball in college. I don't have a particular school I would like to go to but a few preferences for example could be Chipola College in Mariana, Florida. Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida. Or Santa Fe College in Gainsville, Florida. I would prefer a smaller school because I'm used to the smaller environment and I think it would better suit me. My goals are to get on a college roster and to make an impact on that team with my ability to shoot the three and help the team in any way I can. I have been told that I am a very coach-able player, and respectable on and off the court. I love the game of basketball and will do anything to play at the next level if given the opportunity.
Thanks very much, and God Bless.
