The reality star oozes all kinds of luxury in a Gucci bikini and faux fur but a real Mob Wives star says the “fashion world is late to the party.”
Khloé Kardashian has had the internet going wild with her latest Instagram posts. The mom of two did not come to play this year as she kicked things off with a TMRW Magazine photoshoot. She and her sister, Kim Kardashian, are known to hit the gym hard. And while Kim skis through Aspen in an $18k outfit, Khloé opted for something less practical in her snowy pics.
Khloe Kardashian jumps on ‘mob wife’ trend
Every fashion lover knows old styles recirculate generations later and the current ‘mob wife’ look is certainly doing the rounds this January.
The trending aesthetic pays homage to iconic looks pulled off by characters in series such as The Sopranos and movies like Goodfellas.
Think glamour, think power, think your mom’s faux leopard print coat and you’ve aced it. The look is asking for all black everything, Italian handbags, dark eyeliner, gold jewelry, and voluminous hair.
Naturally, as the sister of Kim who loves anything “iconic,” Khloé is jumping on the mob wife trend donning nothing but a bikini and faux fur in the snow.

Fans aren’t sure it landed
Posting her jaw-dropping look to the ‘gram, Khloé added the caption: “It’s giving mob wife vibes… faux mob wife of course.”
While most of her fans and followers are screaming with excitement over her look in the comments, some aren’t convinced she pulled it off.
Many are hailing “Khlo Money” their “dream girl,” while others simply wrote “hot,” and “go off!” on her photos.
In response to Koko’s mob wife reference, someone who’s seemingly an expert in the trend commented: “Girl love you but the mob wives trend is Gen Z finding out about the Sopranos, look fab tho.”
Another said: “No, it’s not giving that at all.”

Drita D’Avanzo weighs in on trend
Khloé’s followers can comment whatever they like about the mob wife aesthetic, but if there’s one person who’s truly an expert in the field, it’s Mob Wives alum herself, Drita D’Avanzo.
Back in 2011, Drita rose to fame as a cast member on VH1’s Mob Wives. The show was centered around real-life mob wives and their friends and family.
Drita starred on the show alongside Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, Carla Facciolo, and the late Angela ‘Big Ang’ Raiola.
The series ran until 2016. But as the Mob Wife aesthetic is trending this year, Drita shared her thoughts on how the “fashion world is late to the party.”
In an Instagram post this January, she took a moment to remember her late best friend, writing: “The #fashion world is late to the party.. but I promise you WE know how to party.. I wish you were here my friend.. all day everyday! I can just imagine the text messages with the #Mob #wife style #trending I miss you! This is for you! #BigAng there’s more great news to come!!
