Celebration of Life for Lafayette Hall, Sr.

Lafayette Hall, Sr. of Virginia Beach passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Lafayette Hall was born on November 12, 1970 to Douglas and Ethel Mae Hall in Ahoskie, North Carolina. After graduating from Floyd E. Kellam High School in 1989, He went on to be a skilled Pipe Layer and Fitter and work for numerous construction companies throughout Hampton Roads over the course of 30 years. He was known for his hard work, dedication and commitment to get the job done right. His Family and Friends knew him as a practical joker and a lover of fishing.

Lafayette Hall went on to have three children, Lafayette Hall, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia; Marcus Xavier Valentine of Orland Park, Illinois; and Rakiyah Loraine India Marie Williams of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Lafayette Hall, Sr. was predeceased in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Hall. Lafayette Hall is survived by his children and grandchildren, his father, Douglas Hall; his sister, Joanna Hall; his brother, Alonzo D. Price (wife Ciara Price); his uncle, Albert Larry Hall and Cousin, Benny Ward, Jr; and a host of nieces and nephew (AJ, Zoey, Zianna, Zaleah and Zemia) and a huge extended family filled with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins from the Ward, Cherry and Hall Families. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that came to know and love him. He was dedicated to his friends and a dedicated Chicago Bears Fan.
