The “18 Months” Album
The Grammy-nominated song, Let’s Go, was written and performed by Calvin Harris and American superstar Ne-Yo. The song is one of the singles from Calvin Harris’s third studio album titled 18 Months.
Fly Eye, Deconstruction, and Columbia Records released 18 Months on October 26, 2012. It is Harris’s first studio album in which he did not provide any vocals. Instead, he only wrote and produced the music and featured other musicians to sing the tracks for him. Featured musicians include Rihanna, Nicky Romero, Kelis, Dillon Francis, Dizzee Rascal, Ayah Marar, Example, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, and Florence Welch. In addition, Calvin Harris also changed his style of music on this album as he switched from his regular nu disco-style genre to the electro-house genre.
18 Months topped the following album charts:
