Lionel Dahmer Suing Netflix: Jeffrey’s Dad Shows Disappointment Over The Series
Michael King Lionel Dahmer, Jeffrey Dahmer’s father, is considering suing Netflix for their recent programs about his son.
Two extremely contentious Jeffrey Dahmer seasons were recently published on Netflix.
The first is a Ryan Murphy drama called Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story that aims to shed light on Dahmer’s atrocities and the experiences of his victims.
The second is a docuseries on the serial killer called Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes.
Both programs have received harsh criticism, and now Lionel Dahmer, the real-life father of Dahmer, is considering suing Netflix.
The Reason Behind Jeffrey Dahmer’s Dad’s Disappointment
According to a caretaker, Jeffrey Dahmer’s father, Lionel Dahmer, plans to file a lawsuit regarding a new drama and a docuseries about his son’s crime.
This occurs as some of the victims’ families have separately criticized Netflix.
At age 86, Lionel Dahmer resides in Ohio with a caretaker. In an interview with The Sun, his caretaker stated that Lionel is upset that Netflix didn’t get in touch with him before producing Dahmer.
The caretaker further asserts that Lionel is irritated by Netflix for not getting permission to utilize the legal team’s tapes for Conversations with a Killer.
‘We’ve discussed it with his publisher as well because of the current upheaval and the reports we’ve heard,‘ the caretaker said.
Lionel is gathering information and considering suing the production team or perhaps Netflix with the help of his power of attorney.
There was no concern for Lionel’s welfare.
Since the start of the series, Jeffrey Dahmer’s admirers have visited Lionel’s home and are said to have made Lionel a nervous wreck.
The caretaker told The U.S. Sun in a report on Thursday that ‘from my knowledge and from all that I’ve seen and personally experienced, Lionel was not contacted about either of these series on Netflix. Due to all the commotion going on and the reports we’ve read, we’ve spoken to his publisher about it too, and I’ve personally spoken to a few lawyers about it. The production team or perhaps Netflix is being investigated as a potential target in a lawsuit that Lionel and his power of attorney are investigating.’
The 34-year-old man named Jeb stated that he had self-defense weapons because he was concerned about being targeted. Now 86 years old, Lionel Dahmer.
The interview follows the highly acclaimed but divisive drama Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix.
Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes is the title of the documentary above series.
According to Jeb, Netflix did not seek authorization to utilize the videos, which were identified by Dahmer’s legal team.
Lionel was said to be a mess after the performances, and his crew posted No Trespassing signs on his Ohio property out of concern.
